This is the full story of how the Kinsella & Ziegler identity was conceived, created and brought to life by our creative partners Interstate Associates.

We approached Interstate in the middle of 2011 with a brief to create a new identity for us. We knew we wanted to look and feel different to the sea of other legal recruiters out there and we knew we wanted our personalities and experience to shine through. After replying to a brand questionnaire, our greatest assets and brand values were drafted up. Then came the fun bit…

They were a bit rough, but there was potential in there...

The concept we had fallen in love with was called Genuine Connections. It emcompassed everything we believe in and wanted to portray. All Interstate needed to do now was to refine the logotype until it was perfect. Ensuring that ā€˜E’ in Kinsella, the ā€˜G’ in Ziegler and the ampersand were all legible, all at once, was key and many different versions were created in order to achieve this.

Next stage, was to design a beautiful colour and graphic palette that could stand up to this quietly powerful identity.

The final identity works together to create a classic brand identity with a modern, fresh twist. The sense of our professionalism and our fun side, is summed up perfectly through the combination of the bright contemporary colours and a striking, intelligent logotype.
